In the second quarter of 2024, the food and diet tracking app sector showed varying performance trends across the top applications. Sensor Tower provides a detailed glimpse into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter saw its revenue fluctuating, peaking at $335K in the first week of May and dropping to $132K mid-June. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around the mid-100Ks, with weekly active users showing a slight decline from 3.6M to 3.4M over the quarter.

YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet experienced a dip in revenue early April to $95K but bounced back with $177K in the second week of June. Downloads peaked at 360K in mid-June, while active users rose from 1.2M to 1.5M, indicating a growing engagement towards the end of the quarter.

Fastic: Food & Calorie Tracker had its highest revenue at $235K in the third week of May, with a general upward trend throughout the quarter. Downloads saw an increase from 74K to 169K, and active users grew significantly from 275K to 452K, showing the strongest user engagement among the top apps.

Fitia: Diet & Meal Planner reported a steady revenue with a peak at $159K in late May. Its downloads were highest at the start of April with 343K and showed a general decline to 150K by the end of June. Weekly active users decreased from 1.3M to 909K over the quarter.

Pulse Checker. Calorie Manager showed consistent revenue around the $80K mark, aside from a peak at $154K at the beginning of April. However, downloads stopped after May 20th, with weekly active users following a downward trend from 75K to 47K.
